Quilters Guild TRIPS AQS SHOW – LANCASTER, PA Registration is open for the bus to the new AQS Lancaster Show in Pennsylvania. The show, which was formerly the Lancaster Host Resort Show, has now been taken over by AQS. AQS is the American Quilter's Society and that stands for excellence in quilting. I have had the good fortune to be able to attend several AQS shows over the years, and the quilts are phenomenal and the caliber is outstanding. On the whole, the show in Lancaster will be unlike anything which has been pre-viouly presented. We are so fortunate that AQS has taken up this venue in the Northeast for us to attend. Do not miss this new show by AQS. It's a must for any seri-ous, or not so serious, quilter. The cost of the trip will be $46.00 per person which includes the bus, the admission and the tip for the driver. The bus will be leaving from the Central Unitarian Church on Forest Ave., in Paramus, NJ. We will be leaving promptly at 6:30AM due to the fact that the show does open at 9:00 AM and we will want to be there to enjoy the entire day. The new facility is only 9 miles farther than the last one, but the show will contained all under one roof, not broken up into three areas as before. Friends and relatives are certainly invited and it's first come, first on the bus. This trip fills up quickly and, by the time March rolls around, we are really going to need to see some incredible quilts to chase away the winter blues.
