Welcome to the new website for the Brownstone Quilter's Guild!

We hope that this website gives you a taste of the kinds of activities our group offers in the Northern NJ and Southern NY area.

We welcome visitors and new members at any time of the year! You can be a novice interested in starting, or a seasoned quilter. We welcome everyone!

Our next meeting:

Thursday,  May 11, 2017   7:00 PM

Location- Central Unitarian Church  Auditorium

Our meeting will feature guest speaker John Kubiniec of Big Rig Quilting.

During his lecture, John will explore where his creativity comes from and what he does to encourage it. Hopefully, you will take away some creative ideas and messages that can be incorporated into your own projects. On Friday, John’s workshop will be split into 2 parts. In the first, John will explore different machine quilting techniques, while in the second, John will be teaching us the different techniques that can be used to bind a quilt. Like the many different ways to complete the quilting on a project, there are different ways and types of binding. These workshops will focus on the techniques of binding and machine quilting, rather than on completing a specific project.
